No. I did this with my son and regretted it. I gave him teething biscuits which contained eggs and then fed him scrambled eggs. He developed a reaction. He is now severely allergic to just about everything. Seriously. Every kid is different. Try yolks first - very little and then see if reaction. If nothing then try whites. If nothing then do the scrambled eggs. Better be safe then sorry. [ Reply | More ]

Dude, hang in there. It's hard as hell but it WILL be ok. It never really 100% goes away - I'm still pissed off at my younger sister ;) - but it becomes less hard. Especially if you're emotional, potentially experiencing heightened PP hormones, it can be an awful experience. Hang in there and know that it gets better!! [ Reply | More ]

I went to a lecture on bullying and the speaker said something interesting about tattling -- that you can remind DC that there is a difference between telling on someone b/c their behavior is unsafe (or mean or whatever) or telling to get them in trouble (and that's what tattling really is -- telling to get someone in trouble). try not reacting. she gets a reaction from you when she tattles and you say you talk to her alot about it. Try doing other thigns with her so that it will negate the power of tattling on sibs.
