watermelon is the worst diet food in the world. So high on glycemic index that it sends your blood sugar nuts and makes you crave carbs. Same thing with raisins. Pears are great, though! [ Reply | More ]

op: i'm not a carb-craver. i'm actually a huge protein person. the first thing i'd choose if i was in front of a fully stocked refrigerator would be a chicken cutlet. it's been more of an issue of laziness and bad habits than anything else. so if i can grab a pear or watermelon chunks instead of a donut, i'm actually doing really good. this is kind of inaccurate. it is high on GI, but has tons of fiber and water so it fills you up. i lost 20 pounds on summer eating low cal, high protein dinners and then watermelon for desert. [ Reply | More ]

[ - ] quick question. i want to get a bike and one of those trailers that go behind. i have a 14 month old. not a serious biker by any means but i want to take her on little bike rides in the trailer. what is the best brand (or comfiest, i guess) of bike and trailer? also, any recommendations for helmets would be helpful too. tia! 2 Replies [ Reply | Watch | More ]

[ - ] DD is 16 months. Wakes at 6am, naps at 9am-11am, and another nap at 2:30-5-5:30. Goes to bed around 8:30-9. This is a firm schedule that we sort of fell into. When does DB start to take just one nap? Given the sleep pattern I described, what time, or rather how to you determine when that one nap takes place? 4 Replies [ Reply | Watch | More ]
