[ - ] I went to the dentist on Thursday and he repaired a tooth that a filling had fallen out of, my tooth was fine thursday evening and all day on friday. Friday evening I started to experience pain and now I am in a full fledged throbbing toothache. I called the dentist office to see if there was someone on call and the message says to call the dentist at his home - would you? take 1 tylenol and 1 motrin together. That was what my dentist advised me to take after I had my wisdom teeth out..and it really worked. You can take 2 of each if the pain is really bad. [ Reply | More

dd is almost 5 (was in prek this year) and she recognizes upper and lower case letters. doesn't read yet. ds is 3.5 and only recognizes upper. (some lower, but not most). i think it has more to do with the school they are in or how much their parents teach them. [ Reply | More

Her blog comes up whenever early elementary school reading difficulties or NEST middle school are mentioned. Obviously, it's one family's experience with two schools (Lower Lab and NEST), but I identify with her younger child's difficulty with reading because my child is also a "small picture" learner.
