Hey, does Lexapro help you lose weight? I take Cymbalta which I like but I think it makes me drink more. Anybody else? I order my drugs through the mail & takes forever. Just had to pay $18 for rush. Ins. co. will reimburse for emergencies, but it is a pain. [ Reply | More ]

ouch. borrow from a friend / family member? Beg for one pill at your local pharmacy (discreetly of course) That actually worked for me once. SSRI's arn't considered "dangerous drugs" and if your pharmacist knows you regularly prescribe, s/he may give you a pill to get through the day. [ Reply | More ]

Yes, I did. I can't remember exactly what week but I think I got my amnio at around 16 weeks and terminated around a week and a half later (after a sonogram to make sure of the diagnosis and then counseling). The baby was anencephalic. [ Reply | More ]

Yes, I terminated at about 16 weeks after poor nuchal results followed by poor cvs results. Baby had Triploidy, which is 3 sets of each chromosome and is fatal within a few months of a baby's birth. [ Reply | More ]

yep. it started when i was trying to get #1 to stay at the table and eat -- v picky and skinny. now it's 3 years later and 1 and 2 eat and watch while i bf 3, and dh supervises. it's the only time they watch tv, practically. i know we need to have a family dinner with no tv, but i can't figure out when i'd cook, and i'm selfish and like to cook and eat when they're in bed. NP: FWIW, I'd check with the OB to see if serious dentalwork is appropriate during pregnancy. There's a helluva lot of gross stuff and germs and viruses that hang out in your mouth. Periodontal disease is a major cause of heart disease in women. I'd check it out. [ Reply | More ]

[ - ] WHy would somebody turn down baby clothes when are in bad shape financially. SIL is having a ds and I'm having a dd I have a ds and I offered to give her some of ds baby clothes. I said don't worry they are in excellent condition since some of the clothes he only wore 1-2 times. She said thank you but I prefer that he have new clothes. this if f'd up. We are ok financially and we take all hand me down we can get. It's so much better then new crap all the time. It's better for the environment.
