honestly if you are chunky nothing is going to look that great. try to stay covered, but some concessions have to be made for practicality. a long pair of shorts sometimes makes sense. i know! for the most part, if DD wants to eat something that i am eating or drinking in front of her, i'll let her try it. unless it is alcholic (which it won't be since i dont drink) or soda with caffeine. i dont' eat very poorly, but will occasionally indulge in bad for you food. I cook very nutritious meals for DD, so why not let her have a taste of soda or eat a potato chip once in a while?? I think it's healthy to let your child understand that there are foods that you eat every day and some that you only have once in a while. [ Reply | More
