I can't stand it when married friends say they're not ready for kids and have so many things they still want to do. Most of these people are well-accomplished (education & career-wise), have traveled extensively, etc. What more do you want? And then they complain when they're 37 and can't get pregnant right away. Just last night DH and I were saying, "Maybe we should do #3." And it was like they could hear us - the two we've got were absolute monsters this morning. [ Reply | More ]

same here. I actually screamed at older dd today after she didn't listen for the umpteenth time. i am not a yeller/screamer-feeling guilty but annoyed that yet again she did not listen. [ Reply | More ]

Aw, we've all been there. My brother had been married forever and I remember thinking after a visit where my boys were hellions - "He's never going to have kids if he thinks they are always like this" (They get really overexcited during his visits). But he was finally ready - two months later he and his wife announced she was pg and he said that his visit got him trying as soon as he got back! [ Reply | More ]

Into what category? Ones that support their friends' choices, even if their choices are not mine or could be misguided? [ Reply | More ]
