In general, first. There is an Italian version of mashed potato with garlic and oo instead of cream/milk/butter. In this one you usually peel after to keep the potatoes from absorbing the water. [ Reply | More ]

East... don't list it in work experience. Just create a second "area" (not like she's at risk of going to two pages) and call that "Other Experience." There she can bullet point being caregiver. Then just coach her on how to deal with this in an interview. It will come up. If she has any affiliation with a support group, that could go in there too. [ Reply | More ]

Visa is insured. They don't get back 1.00 for 1.00 they probably have about a 0.55-0.60 on the dollar recovery rate. They make money by charging interest fees to all of their customers. You buy something for $1000 using your visa card. if you have an interest rate of like 13% (which is good for Visa) that means that after a year that thing cost you $1130.00 (in theory, because most likely you'll pay off part of the principal every month so the balance will always be changing). The also charge business for the ability to accept visa cards, it's a very small amount per transaction, but it adds up. [ Reply | More ]

NP: You are so wrong. The banks take the credit risk and Visa just takes a fee as a % of the transaction. They are a transaction processor, not a risk taker. [ Reply | More ]

that whole "you need a carseat thing" is all baloney. i didn't have a carseat to go home with db. actually, i had one and it was broken. i asked at the hospital if they could help me and they wree just like "go home. you've been discharged". we drove home with db not strapped in. i cried the whole time. but anyway, my point is the hospital doesn't care how you leave. You are buying a carseat though, right? If it rains, you will be bumming pushing the stroller and hauling your stuff unless you're literally a block away. Obviously you will also want the carseat for other stuff. I understand not buying a convertible seat if you don't have a car, but everyone needs an infant seat. [ Reply | More ]
