so the party isn't the same time, is it? If not, of course you can see your friends every other week. What's wrong with that? [ Reply | More ]

If there's a lot of overlap, I might delay it until later in the summer [ Reply | More ]

[ - ] Contractor friend (Westchester) is looking for work (renovations, new builds). He has some time now, before a major job begins in a few weeks, if anyone has a project ready to go soon. He's great (just starting out, so reasonably-priced); DH and I have used him both at our house and at our respective jobs, so can recommend highly. Anyone interested? 1 Reply [ Reply | Watch | More ]

Just would like to add a story here: Last year I was referred a contractor by a trusted friend/client. He started off doing great work, I went on my office intranet to rave about his performance and offer his services. I bet you know you the story ends...paid him, he never finished the job, work he had completed turned out to be mediocre at best. I am now suing. Moral: be super super careful who you refer. [ - ] Nursing mom here and looking for some nice summer tanks that are easy to wear when ebf. I don't want to spend $40 on nursing tank tops and the cheaper Target version does not fit me well. What did you wear? Any suggestions? tia 11 Replies [ Reply | Watch | More ]

I use a nursing apron (Baby Au Lait) and then can wear whatever I like underneath and just cover up with the apron. It works really well. [ Reply | More ]

Yes but no one can see anything. The neckline at the front is rigid at the front so you can see the baby without having to lift up the apron. I didn't have one with dc#1 and hated nursing in public but with #2 using the apron I feel much more comfortable about it. I really recommend it. [ Reply | More ]

I always wore 2 tanks, the inner one I would pull down under my breast and lefit the outter tank up you couldn't see anyhting and was much cheaper than buying a nursing tank [ Reply | More ]

American Apparel has some good long tanks. I would just pull it down from the top over my breast, this way my middle section wasn't exposed. [ Reply | More ]

glamourmom tanks. more supportive than a tank with a shlef bra. hold breast pads securely. formfitting with stretch, helps with the post baby belly. i have worn them almost everyday since having DB last summer. [ Reply | More ]

[ - ] My 8 and a half m.o. sleeps perfectly through the night but is all of a sudden refusing to nap. I've been letting her CIO for the past few days but I think she's having trouble getting herself to sleep. She won't take a pacifier anymore and I tried a little blankie- but nothing. Any suggestions? 3 Replies [ Reply | Watch | More ]

or. My 8mo (dc #2) is napping 9.30am and 1.30pm so very similar times. I know that our dc is finding it harder to settle at the moment as he has just started getting up on his knees (getting ready to crawl) but I know it will be a phase as #1 did exactly the same. GL [ Reply | More ]
