Contractor friend (Westchester) is looking for work (renovations, new builds). He has some time now, before a major job begins in a few weeks, if anyone has a project ready to go soon. He's great (just starting out, so reasonably-priced); DH and I have used him both at our house and at our respective jobs, so can recommend highly. Anyone interested? [ Reply | Watch | Flag ]

Just would like to add a story here: Last year I was referred a contractor by a trusted friend/client. He started off doing great work, I went on my office intranet to rave about his performance and offer his services. I bet you know you the story ends...paid him, he never finished the job, work he had completed turned out to be mediocre at best. I am now suing. Moral: be super super careful who you refer.
