No! White boy, profile I would bet similar to other UB families. From what I'm reading, we are hearing mostly from 99s. There will be others with lower scores who will get NEST, I'm sure. If 99s who ranked the school didn't get in, it shouldn't be possible for a 97 to get in. But considering what happened with the DOE's screw-ups with pre-K assignment, I'm not surprised. I hope they can find a way to fix it without rescinding anyone's placement offer. [ Reply | More

Someone else posted they taped the letter to her door. I bet the DOE is also sending letters via postal mail and these hand-delivered notices are 1) for redundancy, and 2) to minimize the differences in how long people have to wait to hear. [ Reply | More

well, i got married at 18, we were married for 3 years when we both admitted we were each having an affair and at the time we had a 9mo daughter, we tried briefly to fix things, but realized we both didn't want it and married too young so we filed for divorce and we are both on good terms now, especially for our dd. i remarried at 33, been married for 3 years now with a 2yo son and an 8mo daughter and i couldn't be happier - it all works out in the end but you need to think about what you really want and pinpoint what isnt right in your marriage [ Reply | More
