98 dd did not get first choice NEST, got D20, PS102 bayview , 2nd choice. well at least it is over. By the way she is Latina, would have been nice to get NEST, my mom (her baby sitter) lives right across the street. I also work in the city. She is going to have to go to an afterschool program. np. And both of those options go against what the DOE stated the rules would be. They said they would do all the 99s first, then the 98s, and so on. ANd they said it would be by score alone, no other factors being considered. [ Reply | More

Right. And I agree with that practice and thought they should be doing it with all the programs this year, but they said they wouldn't. If it turns out they did, it will be aggravating to me only because it's yet another instance where they say one thing initially and then change their mind with no notice. [ Reply | More
