[ - ] My 2yo hasn't stopped crying/whining since birth . For the 1st year i got so little sleep that doc gave me anti-depressants. Ppl told me she will outgrow this but it hasn't stopped. If god forbid i say no to her she will scream and throw things.She is my 3rd dc and the others were all by the book babies who are well adjusted kids,so it's not like it's my 1st time. I always love Odeon on W.B'way, a few blocks below Canal BUT teen girls will always love the Nolita vibe. I had to move out of the 'hood because it got too hip, so they'll adore that Havana Cafe on the corner of Prince and Elizabeth. Plus, they'll be no shortage of good shops for them within a 4 square block radius-mostly browse but some you may really shop at. Your nieces will love how cool you are. [ Reply | More

[ - ] This morning my boss called me at home to reprimand me for something I feel is not that big of a deal. She was downright mean. I know I'll probably ignore my feelings - as I think direct analysis of this kind of situation is often useless. She's a major bully by the way - but it usually never comes my way as I have a good relationship with her and I'm competent. I did say to her on the phone "ya know, I think your being a bit unfair about this". She came back twice as hard. I've been crying intermittently, I just feel like crap. a dh: I do best when I know what is expected. I'll sit down with dw and make a list of what need to be done for... whatever. Then I say, "I'll but the booze tonight, shop Friday after work and cook on Saturday." Or whatever. That way she knows what I'm doing and if she has an issue she can add more. If your dh is not doing the list, make a list of what needs to get done and ask him to go over it and let you know what he'll do. The time to make the list is a good investment in your sanity and it makes the party easier, too. [ Reply | More
