after she stopped getting only purees. as soon as she started eating finger foods, she would be given small bites of whatever we were eating (small enough not to be choking hazards). normal restrictions on what you can/can't give a DB of a particular age, but I never pureed most foods. That was just conjecture from someone who posted a comment on the InsideSchools blog, the staffer said she'd check into it... this relates only to people who are zoned for the school in the far east 90s that was closed (the poster was upset that she got PS 198, which is the school that shares a building with LL). No, this was a different post, from last night: I'm in the former PS151 upper east side "unzoned" district. When my daughter didn't make G&T (97% on BSRA, but totally flunked OLSAT), i was a bit disappointed. Perhaps that was a blessing in disguise, we're assigned to PS6! My 2 neighbors, are assigned to G&T at hells kitchen and chinatown, and were excluded from the general ed lottery. Any reasons for that? Although I do breath a sign of relief for my daughter, I'm already nervous for my son (who's 1 and a half), I'll have to go through the whole process again in a couple years. [ Reply | More
