[ - ] My ds's bday party will be in August. Do I really still need to invite his entire class from last year? Or just those kids who he was particularly close to plus his other (neighborhood) friends? At what point in the summer does the "whole class" rule change? 3 Replies [ Reply | Watch | More ]

I have been wondering the same. I invited the whole class to dc's party in July. I think unless you are doing all boys or all girls you should invite the whole class regardless of date in the summer. People will be hurt/offended if their dc is not invited, unless you do just a few friends. [ Reply | More ]

but most of the kids are going off to Kindergarten in another town. It's starting to get silly to try to continue to perpetuate that false friendship that came with being in the same preschool class. [ Reply | More ]

I agree with you, but unless you are doing a small party with just a few kids I still think you should invite the class. Think of it as an excuse to get together as a group one last time. If you offend people by not inviting them it will only make you look bad. Is that worth it? Plus, I would bet a lot of people decline the invitation if they are not true friends of yours anyway. [ - ] Never thought I’d write this. I am a very attractive and smart divorced woman, late 30's. All of a sudden I can't stop thinking that I would like to meet another woman, possibly like me...Why am I looking for such a person? Well, I am heterosexual, have always liked men … but in the past year I have just started to feel something difficult to describe with words - I found myself curious about meeting a woman and seeing what would happen, if all the traits important to me were present. It could be only a quality friendship that I seek, who knows. I don’t to be honest, and I apologize if all this does not makes sense, and of all places for posting here. But I guess I just wanted to hear if this is normal, if anyone else has felt the same way. Thanks. 11 Replies [ Reply | Watch | More ]

boy, on the old UB you would have already had a bunch of 'offers' from wanna be lesbian moms. OK - this crowd is a big tamer - I think it is normal to fantasize about women. men are SO draining and sometimes I think woman just want the ease that goes with hanging out with other women. No advice really; haven't really btdt but have done a lot of fantasizing and more about being with another woman. [ Reply | More ]

hmm, i think this it's totally normal to want to have a close woman friend who you have a lot in common with. if you're thinking you might want it to be more, that's normal enough too- i mean, just go with it and see where it leads. you might find that friendship is all you want, you might want more. but it's ok to think all of that [ Reply | More ]
