DD was born at barely 35 weeks -- she spent a few days in the NICU as a precaution for low birth weight (4.1), but was okay. (DH and I are both tiny and I have small babies -- DS was born at 41 weeks and only weighed 6.1!) She's 3 now and great! [ Reply | More

You're making assumptions without any education information. IQ does nt necessarily correlate to school performance, even in g&t. Without knowing which school it is, the relative intelligence of every child, and what the problems are, you can't even begin to know if it's a problem with the class or the child or the test.
