DD was born at barely 35 weeks -- she spent a few days in the NICU as a precaution for low birth weight (4.1), but was okay. (DH and I are both tiny and I have small babies -- DS was born at 41 weeks and only weighed 6.1!) She's 3 now and great! [ Reply | More ]

[ - ] For all the talk about what test scores mean, I have two DC, one scored 81 on S-B, the other a 99. The one who scored an 81 is a much better student and gets much better grades. Both Dcs are in the same school, too. 10 Replies [ Reply | Watch | More ]

Simillar situation here and I can easily say the 99 kid was a PITA from the time he was born. Love him to pieces, wouldn't trade him for anything but, out of three kids, from the beginning I knew he was different and more difficult, too. [ Reply | More ]

You're making assumptions without any education information. IQ does nt necessarily correlate to school performance, even in g&t. Without knowing which school it is, the relative intelligence of every child, and what the problems are, you can't even begin to know if it's a problem with the class or the child or the test. [ - ] HELP. I'm trying desperately to wean the night feed for my 7.5 mo (yes, I know) He is out smarting me and has now moved his "night" feed to 4:45-5:00 where, one might reason, he is actually hungry. He goes bonkers if I don't give him the boob, and I'm usually so tired I whip it out and he'll go back to sleep for an hour or so. What do I do???? 7 Replies [ Reply | Watch | More ]
