Therapist is too involved with dd -- offered to pick her up a couple of weeks ago from a scene where she had a meltdown, brings her little gifts. Also therapist for a child should really be treating the whole family, and therapist makes me feel like I'm a no-good mother. Stuff like that. [ Reply | More ]

These TT schools are well vetted and well known by all of the top colleges including the ivies. They will always always take dcs from them. Will it be YOUR dc? Sorry! I think it is the only thing people feel they can actually measure. I went to both public and a tt private each for a few years and I can see the difference between the education so for me thats the important factor but for most people who cannot compare its college admissions: HYP HYP HYP , so exhausting. You are talking about the baby boom echo. It has already peaked and will begin dropping to a nadir in 2015-17 then stabilize. By sheer numbers college admissions will be easier 10-15 years from now then it is now. A article I read awhile ago said that the 2017 numbers will be down to the late 80s. That's awesome, because in the late 80s at my TT school everyone was running around like chicken little yelling about how this was the hardest year ever.
