i know what you are saying in general, but if you have a young db and work 8-9hrs a day (conservatively) and your young db is only awake say 12hrs a day, why waste one of your few hrs/day with db exercising? And usually dh works longer hrs, which means going after db is asleep is usually only at 5am. You have to be really motivated. [ Reply | More ]

I have 3 kids, sahm with ft help in the city and can't find the time. I probably truly have the time 1-2 days a week but I figure, why bother since it's not enough. Also it would end up being Mon Tues one week and then Thurs/Fri of the following week so the span between workouts gets really long. I can only go btwn 8 am and 6 when I have the nanny (as I'm on my own with the kids the rest of the time).. and between school drop offs, errands, pick ups, playdates, doc appts etc...just doesn't leave me with 3-4 days where I can spend 2 hours at the gym [ Reply | More ]

[ - ] WTF??? Inlaws took DH and I out to lunch today to celebrate our 5 year wedding anniversary on Saturday. My DH says "DW and I have a big announcement" (about to tell his parents that we've decided to try for db#2) and his mother blurts out "you're splitting up?" DH and I were stunned. Why would she day this? Wishful thinking on her part? Does she think our relationship is bad (it's hardly perfect but we are generally happy and definitely not splitting up)? Is she just crazy? Needless to say, I feel really hurt. 6 Replies [ Reply | Watch | More ]
