WTF??? Inlaws took DH and I out to lunch today to celebrate our 5 year wedding anniversary on Saturday. My DH says "DW and I have a big announcement" (about to tell his parents that we've decided to try for db#2) and his mother blurts out "you're splitting up?" DH and I were stunned. Why would she day this? Wishful thinking on her part? Does she think our relationship is bad (it's hardly perfect but we are generally happy and definitely not splitting up)? Is she just crazy? Needless to say, I feel really hurt. [ Reply | Watch | Flag ]

It is Thursday and you are still worrying over a Saturday night remark? Move on! [ Reply | More ]

I'd think it was funny! It say more about her being a worrying type, than about what she thinks of the state of your marriage. [ Reply | More ]

Sounds like something my mother would say. Did she appear hopeful when she said it? If not, just let it go, maybe she thought she was being funny. [ Reply | More ]
