he has no use for the potty his older sister who is 4 uses one in front of him. we bought his own and he kicked out of the bathroom. also this kid breastfed till he was 2. he would not sleep or dirink reg milk so i finally got him to stop bfby takeing a bottle. the thing is he wont leave me alone about having his bottle mimim (mimi is what he called my breast [ Reply | More ]

He is still very young. 3-4 is a common time for potty training for kids and he isn't even 3. I am not sure I understand the second part - is he using a bottle now to go to sleep? I took my daughter at 2 1/2 to the dentist, the dentist made it clear that no milk after teeth brushing, it stopped all arguments for us. [ Reply | More ]

Started ds on meds when he was 7. It was a lot of trial & error. Stimulant meds (Ritalin, Adderall, Focalin, etc.) worked well for attention problems, but the side effects were too cumbersome (agitation, anxiety). We finally tried a low dose of Strattera (which is not a stimulant) and it works very well. [ Reply | More ]

[ - ] Went to the brooklyn promenade to watch the fireworks. Stopped by the salon I used for 15yrs 3 rior to having ds, to make an appt with my old stylist only to find he was killed by a car last yr. I am so sad, what a wonderful man with a zest for life. I love them (and for me, it is all about portion control!). I like many of the cookie varieties (Chips Ahoy, Oreo, Lorna Doone) and the chips (Pringles and Baked Cheetos) and the Craisins. I'm a snacker (I'd rather have a small breakfast and lunch and graze during the day). [ Reply | More ]
