[ - ] may i please have some advice. i am currently fatter than i should be. i am trying to lose about 20 lbs (5'4" and around 140). what are people like me wearing on the weekends that is comfortable and looks nice. too fat right now for yoga pants and tee shirts; i have now idea. at least in the winter, i could cover up with big sweater. even my jeans look crappy. sigh. tia 4 Replies [ Reply | Watch | More ]

I'm having this problem, too! Same stats -- and am now down to 134, but still flabby and clothes are still tight. Have a few outfits that work -- mostly flowy tops with jeans, but it's still tough (and these are old tops -- I haven't seen much in the stores right now that would work, b/c you don't want something too flowy). Favorite is a last season top by Vince with a pair of straight jeans -- but I can't wear that everyday! [ Reply | More ]

You are being unrealistic. You should only have to use 10lbs to look cute. [ Reply | More ]

5'3" and 135 here and I agree that 10 pounds is more realistic. I'd be happy if I could shed 10 [ Reply | More ]

Get the Graco car seat that goes into the snap an go. You'll use the car seat for about 6/7 months and then switch to a regular stroller. If you drive a lot I would get the McLaren XT Techno. It folds really easily and is indestructable (sp?). [ Reply | More ]

one of the convertible ones that can be like a pram with the baby lying down and facing you, or can be forward facing and seated upright as the child grows. I had a Peg Perrego Venezia that did this, but I know lots of other brands do this too. [ Reply | More ]

Ride the train again with your child and whole family as soon as possible (Sunday morning is a great time for this). Do it in a calm way. How old is your child? You want to reassure your dd that riding the subway is OK. [ Reply | More ]

just go get her, she'll be very tired for next nap and scream and scream but then drop off more quickly, i'd start with naps and leave bed time for last to stop rocking (once she is good at the naps). For naps try to read a book or have the whole routine without the rocking. [ Reply | More ]
