The door scraped your arm? Aren't the doors rubberized on the edge? [ Reply | More ]

There was rubber on the door but it still cut through my skin in 2 places. it hit on the outside where the bone is really close to the skin [ Reply | More ]

well I didn't do it on purpose! at first she was upset because she thought she was going to end up on the train by herself. then she was upset because I was bleeding. I had no control over the seepage of blood [ Reply | More ]

I would take pictures of your arm and go to an ER and then go to one of those trip and fall attornys and get $6,000 out of it. That should not happen. [ Reply | More ]

fuck you -- the motorman is supposed to be watching, and not close the doors on someone halfway through. i had this happen to me once, and it hurt like a bitch. [ Reply | More ]

No, it shouldn't happen, and it could have been a lot worse. I wouldn't sue because that isn't my style, but I would report it to the MTA. [ Reply | More ]

that's terrible. really, you are lucky to have survived that. I know a woman who lost her leg when the door closed on it and the train started moving. [ Reply | More ]

i never understand why people rush into a subway with closing doors, especially when they have a kid with them. wait the extra 5-10 minutes next time. [ Reply | More ]

it happened really quickly. warning bell rang at the same time that the door closed, not before like is supposed to happen [ Reply | More ]

Ride the train again with your child and whole family as soon as possible (Sunday morning is a great time for this). Do it in a calm way. How old is your child? You want to reassure your dd that riding the subway is OK. [ Reply | More ]
