i'm a better mother because my mom had 3 more children than i did so she was way overtaxed at home PLUS worked a full-time job to bring in the extra income my lazy father refused to recognize we needed. she didn't have much time to mother us. however, though i am in circumstances to be a better mother, i don't know that i am necessarily a better person? I buy a lot of age appropriate workbooks (Staples, Costco) and we do those together. There are Kumon cards that are good for writing skills. We also visit websites that are for reading. Starfall.com is good. I also like enchantedlearning.com but you need to be a member to access some of the stuff there. In any case the website break activities down by age group. [ Reply | More
