[ - ] Anyone use the Clearblue OPK and if so, was it accurate? I tried another brand and never got a positive and am using Clearblue this week. Also, is it a big deal if I do the test at 5:00 today when I did at 11:30 yesterday? 3 Replies [ Reply | Watch | More ]

peeonastick.com has good info about using opks. I believe you are ideally supposed to use them early afternnon as most women have the LH spike in the late morning. It's pretty easy to miss the spike if you test at the wrong time. [ Reply | More ]

my # 1 is a result of clomid and clearblue (the computerized version). it only took one cycle! #2 worked on the 2nd cycle and it never showed an egg, just a high chance. [ Reply | More ]

[ - ] Once and for all, and even though it's a moot point now, is it true that if you did not rank ALL available programs on your G&T letter, that your application would be bounced? My understanding was that this was true ONLY if you wanted to be GUARANTEED a district G&T seat. If you were willing to take a chance of not getting any G&T seat, then you were free to rank only a few of your options and would not be bounced for not ranking all available options. Someone pls confirm?! 9 Replies [ Reply | Watch | More ]

No, this is not true. Not ranking all choices only means that your kid is not guaranteed to get a spot because all your choices are already full by the time it was your kid's turn to be placed. I personally did rank everything, though, because I am curious what a 98 would get us. If we don't like it we go with our backup gen ed. [ Reply | More ]

[ - ] I posted this yesterday but am re-posting just in case (got no replies). I had a miscarriage a few weeks ago and took Cytotec, and last week had to take it again because my hormone level hadn't dropped enough. I will be testing it again this week but am curious if anyone has had the experience of going through the Cytotec route and ending up having to have a D&C anyway. This has been a total nightmare that feels like it will never end. TIA. 6 Replies [ Reply | Watch | More ]

I'm glad you can admit that. It's probably a somewhat normal reaction. I have had some not so nice emotions regarding my mom's new boyfriend (Dad died a couple of years ago) Changes like this can be scary and strange, but I'll bet if you focus on the positive aspects of it, you will adjust. I think that is a silly and selfcentered concern. That's like feeling sorry for kids from big families, grandkids where there are a lot of grandkids. Sure, an only child or only grandchild gets more attention, but who feels sorry for kids b/c they have siblings and cousins? To me the only legitimate concern is planning for this new child's future. If you don't want to be responsible for this child when your parents die, make sure they know that. [ Reply | More ]
