:) I must admit, it's practical for me, because I work from home, so it gets nice and peaceful, but I'm concerned about her. She's getting a little too difficult in school (apparently tore down the coat rack the other day!) and I wonder if she isn't getting too much sleep. [ Reply | More ]

Should I just go with it for a while and hope it will pass, and only serve her the rice, or should I take the food away if she pushes away the rest? (she gets a little aggressive, btw). 2 Replies [ Reply | Watch | More ]

Definitely continue to serve her other foods along side the rice - a protein like chicken or tofu, a vegetable... It's really important that you maintain the expectation that she eat those things, even while accepting that she won't. One day, hopefully, she'll come around. I sometimes give my 3yo a small plate and tell him anything he doesn't want he can put there. This seems to work well. [ Reply | More ]

First, go through all the "stuff" and sort into piles. This will help you to see what container/storage needs you have. For example, you may find you need someplace to put invitations. Or someplace to put outgrown clothes. Or somewhere to put recipes or newspaper clippings. Meanwhile, get relentless about throwing things out if you come across something you don't need. THese two strategies together are a good way to start getting organized. [ Reply | More ]

Take it easy, don't rush your recovery you will recover sooner rather then later that way. Little things to consider, put a step stool next to your bed (if it is high) rubbing alcohal for the tape to cover the scar ( you will not want to scrub hard for a few days). Take the pain meds it will help. [ Reply | More ]
