Definitely continue to serve her other foods along side the rice - a protein like chicken or tofu, a vegetable... It's really important that you maintain the expectation that she eat those things, even while accepting that she won't. One day, hopefully, she'll come around. Take it easy, don't rush your recovery you will recover sooner rather then later that way. Little things to consider, put a step stool next to your bed (if it is high) rubbing alcohal for the tape to cover the scar ( you will not want to scrub hard for a few days). Don't listen to them. Definitely look into a music class, too. I did both with my DB since she was 3 months old. I met a ton of Moms that way. I also did some stuff at my local library. Classes are only 45 minutes and I love that it gives me something to do in the day with DB. At the beginning it was definitely for me to meet people, but now that DB is a year she loves them too.
