[ - ] Does anyone have any info on UNIS? Is there a high turnover of international kids? Is this a bad thing? 1 Reply [ Reply | Watch | More ]

the turnover is no higher than other schools -- there's a page with FAQs on the UNIS website and that's one of the issues covered. Many of the international/UN families at UNIS have long-term posts in the US. What kind of other info are you looking for? [ Reply | More ]

my SIL had this. As I remember it, you still ovulate normally, just the egg is not able to make it down the damaged tube to be fertilized. My SIL had the damaged tube removed (I think it was to improve conception probability.) After a few rounds, she had a beautiful healthy baby via IVF. Then a few years later... they had one naturally. Her doc said the wild part is that the egg which was fertilized was from the ovary without the fallopian tube. That the tube from the other side "reached over" and snagged that egg. (It was a one in a million chance.) [ Reply | More ]
