i spoke with someone at doe enrollment on tuesday and he claimed the letters were going out at the end of THIS week, 6/9 at the latest. when i asked about the timing on returning our decisions, they claimed they did not know since they "had not seen the letters yet." go figure....sigh... Of course I will feel disappointed for my own dd's missed opportunity if we don't get in (and I'm not expecting to, since it's now just a game of chance). It's hard to separate out your own disappointment from your feelings about your friends' kids, which is totally secondary.
