My 3yo daughter is a terror at a park: takes toys and snaks away from other kids, throws her toys, screams. Anyone else has these problems and knows how to correct them? Anyone knows a book on how to address that? [ Reply | Watch | Flag ]

This might be the case, but why would she be so aggressive towards the kids in the park? Just because she can't be aggressive to me and has to follow what I tell her? [ Reply | More ]

3 yo is old enough to have a pep talk before leaving for the park and arriving at the park, setting the ground rules for behavior, give her warnings and above all follow through. Leave the park if you have to. I had to drag my son out kicking and screaming one day at 8 m pg. [ Reply | More ]

discuss beforehand what your expectations are and if she gets out of hand, give her one warning and tell her you will have to leave if she does X again. The SECOND she does X, calmly but firmly take her home, carrying her screaming as necessary. [ Reply | More ]
