cut him some slack. at the right time, should things get to that point, you have the relationship talk. then you'll have the info to decide your next step. do you think you're an equally dubious partner because you're the the half of the date? [ Reply | More ]

Not seven but that was me. I dated a woman who I got along with great but we were in grad school and both going to be leeaving the area for different places. And I dated three women I could have spent my life with but we wanted different things. [ - ] I posted last week about whether or not to bring a gift to a party celebrating potty training... well I brought a wrapped toilet paper roll with a highlights mag stuck in it, and the mom pulled me aside and told me she thought it was inappropriate, that they were not trying to make a joke out of it... hello, they sent out formal invites and hired entertainment for a party called a "poo poo party"! B of A should be able to tell if someone cashed it- did they stop payment? This happened with our bank (not B of A) and they could tell that it had not been cashed (though it had gone through our account as an online bill pay) and they just stopped payment, no fee [ Reply | More ]

it kind of depends. my older dc was in a daycare with a dc who was out of control-hitting, biting, aggressive, to an extreme extent (problems were daily, not once in a blue moon). there were problems in the dc's home, the dc was acting out. the teachers and the daycare worked with him and the family to minimize the behaviour and worked with other children on tolerating the different ways people act, how to use words when feeling anger, etc. it worked out for everyone. Business Formal = suit. If nighttime, dress-up a business suit or classic cut dress with dressy heels, great jewelry, maybe a prettier blouse underneath jacket. If daytime, suit & basic heels enough. [ Reply | More ]

Oh, well I've heard of people getting them even though they never used to. Though if they're really bad you should see OB. I had a friend who never had cramps then started getting them bad and had to get surgery (forget what it was specifically that she had). Not to scare you but better to be on the safe side. [ - ] So get this .. My father told me on Monday that he was leaving for Sweden on Friday (today) with his girlfriend of 1.5 years and her kids (three sons, ages 21, 19, and 9) for 10 days. He only told my brother last night. He has had the tickets for months but decided to not tell us, and tell other people not to tell us, because he thought we would be upset. Last night, he came over to see dd and the whole time was going on about how he was leaving for vacation and acting like I was supposed to be excited for him. I really just feel betrayed, lied to or something bad. 7 Replies [ Reply | Watch | More ]

You need to support your dad. He lost his partner (yeah she was your mom but she was his partner, his mate). Then he was lucky and found somebody new and now you and his son are acting like asses. You should be excited for him. That is how decent people react when somebody they love is happy. [ Reply | More ]
