Reposting, thanks for any suggestions- I have no clue...: I have been invited to an event next week (award ceremony, dinner) attire is "business formal" what exactly does this mean? How should I dress? I feel that a pant suit may not be as nice, but if I wear a long skirt and top I risk looking ridiculos? Thank you [ Reply | Watch | Flag ]

Thanks, is it ok if the pant suit is really nothing special? ( wool crepe) Just hate that I may feel underdressed, but it's either that or a long dress, which I think would not be right... [ Reply | More ]

Business Formal = suit. If nighttime, dress-up a business suit or classic cut dress with dressy heels, great jewelry, maybe a prettier blouse underneath jacket. If daytime, suit & basic heels enough. [ Reply | More ]
