I have the Sport and it works well for my 2.5yo and 8mo (had it since the birth of #2dc). I don't like the brake which is very stiff but the newer Dash and Vibe versions have a hand brake. [ Reply | More ]

Yes, but if ss does find out about it it could devaste him...I def would call parents. If you know and do nothing, you are tacitly condoning...which I doubt you mean to do. It sucks, but I'd try to make some calls. Teenagers are too vulnerable to depression, suicide, etc. I wouldn't risk it. [ Reply | More ]

^^^I'm starting to think that schools need to do periodic patrols of myspace and facebook. Our sitter's classmate posted nude pictures of herself and boyfriend (she was 16). sorry, having trouble replying to you above. We're doing the Mariner of the Seas cruise to St Maarten and St. Thomas. It's ALWAYS more exp in July but it's when Our vacation time works the best. Friends did about the same cruise back in march for 1/2 the cost. September is priced well then too. BTW, we are going w/o dd who is 2 1/2. Have seen the kids programs there and I would put her in it when she is older. [ Reply | More ]

The sound shore towns i.e. those on the Long Island Sound are considered a step up from the rivertowns on the Hudson River. I prefer Mamaroneck (Mamaroneck and Rye Neck school districts), it is very family friendly and you won't feel isolated. It is very nice especially by the water, Shore Acres has its own private beach, pool and docking for residents which is nice, Orienta has a beach too and has a couple of private yacht clubs and a golf course. The historic district in Rye Neck (Melboune Avenue,Beach Avenue and N Barry) are also nice, although N Barry is a busy street especially if you have kids, Heathcote Hill is also nice and so is the northern part of Mamaroneck by the golf courses. Some parts of Mamaroneck have a Larchmont postal address and those areas are also nice. In the rivertowns, I lik Irvington, particularly the manor area, the Ardsley-on-Hudson area is also nice. Try to get a big yard in Irvington so you can put in a pool, they don't have a town pool. The exposure to sports there is not great compared to Mamaroneck, I think since they don't have their own Little League. Hastings is also nice but very hilly, a lot more than Irvington, they have a town pool and a little league. [ Reply | More ]
