Well, my understanding is that the Nuchal Fold was attributed specifically for Down's, I could be wrong though, and the CVS is 100% in testing for the Down's gene. What does your DR say? The CVS doesn't test for everything but it does rule out a lot of things.Call your doctor and tell her your concerns, that is too stressful to keep you in the dark. Good Luck, my prayers, I'm 33 weeks. [ Reply | More ]

Do we go along and pull money from investments since as far as I can tell we are only having one dc and his education is by and large the greatest investment we can make or should we just go for one year and actually see if we like it? Maybe we can swing it if we are really careful but at what point is it too expensive and at what point will we really feel like although we are not saving for college it's okay? 11 Replies [ Reply | Watch | More ]

1, 5 and 7. Everything is a struggle. They rarely listen to me. Raising my voice is effective only if I yell so loud it scares them (but then I get hoarse and probably scare the neighbors as well). Regular yelling doesn't work and neither does being calm and asking nicely. [ Reply | More ]

I have 3 tones. There's the "stop doing that, sweetie," which works about 50 percent of the time. There the sterner, "I told you once before, . . . ," which works about 75 percent of the time. There's the raised voice. "Stop. If you don't then xxxx will happen," which works about 98 percent of the time. The problem is, if I went straight to #3, then it would cease to be effective."
