I am not talking about the kind of pitas of the MC UB moms. I am talking about super wealthy eentitled, powerful parents suing each other over their teens behavior and the like. all this nicey nice of the early years and fitting into the group we hear about on UB goes out the window when the kids start to grow up. I imagine you have a young dc, and still believe all the preschool fear of being a PITA. you have no idea. [ Reply | More ]

Ours usually goes fine, but DS (my oldest) can be tough sometimes. If either of them start popping out or trying to extend it too long I put them back in bed saying "it's bedtime, we stay in bed & sleep" and a kiss. Any time after that that they come out I just say nothing and put them back to bed. I had one time with DS I had to put him back a number of times, but it totally works. The not talking at all after the first time is the key. [ Reply | More ]
