are they going to do it at 24 hrs and 48 hrs after the trigger? I have heard of this but my dr said it doesn't really up your chance to do two IUIs rather than one at 36 hours. I am not at cornell and am not familiar with their process. [ Reply | More ]

that sounds really interesting to me. So you had the LH surge already? How many follicles did you have? What size were they? I have never heard of that, two different ovulation days...I thought if you had the surge or the trigger that all follicles went at that time, even if they were too small. [ Reply | More ]

i had one that was 18, 15, 14, 16, 13.5, get my follistim shot tonight at 10, ovidrel at 7 tomorrow, iui tomorrow around 10, then another on tues. [ Reply | More ]

if you are still doing follistim I don't think you are ovulating tomorrow. I don't think you will ovulate until 36 hours after ovidrel, according to my dr. I do the follistim until I get follicles to measure 18-22, then I do hcg trigger (novarel or ovidrel) and 36 hrs later ovulate. have you continuously been doing the follistim? [ Reply | More ]

yes every day,i take follistim, well with my bloodtest today, and ultrasound dr said like it looks like my body will ovulate on its own, having second iui to max my chances. [ Reply | More ]

I would not. Nor would I get high with a child of any age living in my home under my care. Who knows what we'll do when they both go off to college but for now we're living clean. After you do that for a few years (or 12) smoking pot starts to seem pretty juvenile. [ Reply | More ]

flame away, people, but I have. There seems to be no hard science at all supporting that it could harm the baby, unlike alcohol, cigarettes, etc. And me relaxed (I tend towards heavy duty anxiety) with a small amount of thc in my system is probably better than the stress hormones and cortisol my body would be flooding my milk with in its absence. you will always worry that if something happens to you what would happen to your kid. i think you have to make yourself feel comfortable that other people can take care of your baby too - you probably feel that you are doing everything right now. also though i am worried that it so soon after your baby was born - i agree with the above post - you really should talk to your ob asap. I don't know if a "new baby" gift differs from a shower gift, but my favorite gift-that-keeps-on-giving shower gift (how's that for most use of the word "gift" in a single sentence?!) was a collection of classic baby / board books (eg, pat the bunny, is your mama a llama, brown bear, brown bear, etc.), each individually wrapped and presented in a large (funky, woven) box. Something you wouldn't necessarily do / get for yourself but would appreciate is always nice... [ Reply | More ]
