no I know how to have fun. My almost 3 y/o seems to fight me on everything - out of the blue. We could be having a great time and then "NO!" Time outs don't seem to work all the time - she'll come out of time out, say she's ready to cooperate and then refuse to cooperate, ending up back in time out. [ Reply | More ]

Buck up camper. Your DH surely deserves a night out with friends, as do you! Go watch a funny movie and instead of picking a fight with him when he gets home have sex. Make sure you get some time out doing something you enjoy this weekend. [ Reply | More ]

[ - ] HOLY SHIT. My sil (dh bro's wife) just called hysterically crying saying "Please tell Frank (my dh) to not hate me!". I thought to myself did she kill my bil? WHat it was is that she filed for divorce after 25 yrs. She found out he's been having an affair for 2yrs. He moved her upstate to Syracuse while he was living with their teenage son in Middletown (so he could finish HS there). Mind you this man is the GEEKS of all DWEEBS. He is the LAST PERSON on earth you would think that would have an affair. I feel so bad for her. She OD'd on pills and was in ICU and her dh didn't come to visit. Told the ICU Dr that they are over, ect. What a bastard. He denied the affair until he came to meet the mistress and the wife was there too. UGH some men are SCUMBAGS 8 Replies [ Reply | Watch | More ]

op: yes I just called my dh and told him what an ass his brother has been. He was in TOTAL SHOCK. He also said he is going to call SIL to let her know that she did nothing wrong and his brother is to blame for his actions. Ugh poor lady. She literally is the kind of woman who did all for her family. No education, no job, no friends..everything was his wants and desires which she was very happy with. Now she finds herself very lonely [ Reply | More ]

she is out of the hospital. They have a teen son which is in his senior yr of HS. My DH will NOT stick by his brother in this case. He will call a spade a spade and if his brother did wrong, he will let him know he isn't going to be against the SIL just because they share blood. [ Reply | More ]

[ - ] I got married at 25. Dh and I both vowed to not have children. (I am the oldest of six and felt like I raised them). All of my siblings married, had a zillion children. None for me, thanks. Then, I turned 38. And DH and I were like, Hey, let's have a baby! I got pregnant (literally) the next day. Here's the thing. Every single choice I've made with DD, (now 15 months), my siblings bring up the fact that I "never wanted kids." I stop BF at 8 months. My sister says, "that's because you never wanted kids." I put DD in daycare part time. Another sister says, "well you never wanted kids so that's easier for you to do.." I think this is so fucked up and offensive. And when I say so, they say I am being sensitive. UB, am I being sensitive? Or is that a really inappropriate thing to say to someone?! 13 Replies [ Reply | Watch | More ]

Its ok for siblings to say inappropriate things to each other - just like its okay for you to smile and say that you gave this decision to have a child a lot more thought then they did and given your preparation you are very comfortable with your choices and f off if they don't like it [ Reply | More ]

only in very rude, inappropriate families is that okay. It is not okay in my family, for instance, for siblings to say that sort of hurtful thing. If I were OP, I would be angry. plus, the stuff they are criticizing you for is really, just nothing. I would be offended if someone criticized me on how long I bfed. [ Reply | More ]
