I feel silly even posting this. But I take it personally that my 14 month old never wants me. Only her dad. Before he gets home, it's all about me. As soon as he walks in, she literally pushes me away. And then cries if DH even walks NEAR me. Today, she took a step further. And pouted and cried because I was IN the room while he was reading her book. She kept looking at me and whimpering and clinging closer to DH. I left the room, (and then peaked inside), and she looked at him like, "yeah, she's finally gone. Now where were we?" DH of course, LOVES it. And it's cute. But today, I was really offended. What did I do to her? [ Reply | Watch | Flag ]

nothing. Some kids are like that. My sis has 5. 2 of them always prefered her DH. The other 3 wanted her. Don't take it personally. You are the grown up [ Reply | More ]
