[ - ] need advice...we have the "neighborhood pool." All the kids on the street are really great-but they always want to swim! I don't necessarily want to be lifeguard every afternoon, nor do I want to be hesitant to swim in my own pool because they are all hanging around the fence. Anyone BTDT? What were your rules? 8 Replies [ Reply | Watch | More ]

If you don't mind them using your pool occasionally set a day and time that they can come when you can supervise. If they ask just say 'sure you can swim come on ...at...' If they fuss just keep repeating it until they get the point [ Reply | More ]

If kid/s want to come over, tell them that their moms HAVE to come as well- you're not going to be outside all the time [ Reply | More ]

This is good advice but remember if anything happens to any of the kids whether their parents are their or not it will be your responsibility. I would supervise personally at all times with kids in the pool. [ Reply | More ]

I know. I don't feel like I want to be responsible for that many kids--only problem is two of the kids have two working parents and a nanny who never leaves the house--then they would never get to swim--oh well.... [ Reply | More ]

[ - ] I am so sad for what happened to Hillary. I am a friend of hers and I know she's a fun loving person who cares. Whenever I see her she keeps talking about what she wants to do for young mothers and farmers and the elderly and the unemployed. There is not a day that goes by that she doesn't care and we've been at the movies and in teh middle of the movie, she'll start sending e-mails of things she needs to do to help people, that's how much she cares. 8 Replies [ Reply | Watch | More ]

OR: mine are 3 years apart and dd2 was a real mommy's baby''somewhat cranky and loved to nurse. If you are in a routine at all, try and spend a real quality 45min to an hour with 2yo whereyou only focus on him/her. Right after a feeding. Have babysitter hang with the newborn and take dc1 out for icecream or to Barnes and noble for a big girl.boy treat with mom. And pump everymorning: feed, shower, pump. Is db getting an bottle practice yet? Time to start, if not. [ Reply | More ]

I was in your situation (baby now 8mo) and found reading stories to 2yo during feedings worked well or just talking with the older one while he played so he felt like he was getting attention. [ Reply | More ]

If you have had a positive test at home they are often more sensitive than the tests done at the Drs. You are pregnant either way. Congrats [ Reply | More ]

you can call the ERB office to see if results were mailed yet. They will tell you if your PSD was emailed the results. Problem is they won't email report you unless you registered/paid online and they won't fax you a copy of report. So, you may need to track down PSD. [ Reply | More ]
