[ - ] how critical do you think it is for your under 2yo to be with other kids/be "socialized"? A nanny felt like the right choice for us, but she doesn't really take him to classes or playgroups or anything (although she would if I asked her to). Db is 9mo and is relatively shy as far as 9 month olds go. Should I sign her up for something or not worry about it for now? She takes him out & about all the time, as do we, but not really with other dbs around... 3 Replies [ Reply | Watch | More ]

At 9 mos I don't think it matters at all. By 18 mos or so I think one class or even just a little playground time is nice. [ Reply | More ]

Wow, I delivered at MT S. But Rebarber wasn't there - conincidentally, he was my doc when he was at NYU (miscarriage). I really liked him. He's married to a midwife (or was). The hospital is fine - but I have to admit, I left in 24 hours and had a private room. [ Reply | More ]

LOVE rebarber and the whole practice. Delivered with them when they were at NYU and again when they moved to Mt. Sinai. As for Mt. Sinai, the delivery rooms SUCK (the ones at NYU were 3x the size) but the hospital rooms are nice. My mt. Sinai nurses were all great. Can't say enough great things about Rebarber and his associates. [ - ] wwyd? I'm going out tonight with a bunch of friends. I'm 2 months pregnant and constantly feel sick to my stomach, and not drinking. Usually, we split the check, but that's going to be around $50 per person, and I will probably only end up eating an appetizer. Suck it up and split the check or throw in $15 and call it even? 4 Replies [ Reply | Watch | More ]

If you aren't already doing this then gradually reduce the length of time you pump for by a few mins each time so that your supply will reduce. If you just pump until you are comfortable and no more that should help. If you aren't getting sore then you can avoid pumping altogether. [ Reply | More ]

My #1 and #2 are 20 mos apart and #2 and #3 are 19 mos apart. It is chaos (sometimes controlled, sometimes not).
