[ - ] Did anyone actually get ps9 or anderson who was not a sib? I have only seen one post, and i don't believe it. surely there would be a number of people crowing about it here. I think it is a question of number of spots. 9 only has one class thus with siblings likely only 15 spots. Not all of those people UB or heard today (I do recall at least one 9 however). Anderson is pulling from multiple boroughs and not everyone UBs there either. Nest has 125 spots--thus by definition more will get it. I think it is random who has heard and who hasn't and you will drive yourself crazy thinking otherwise. [ Reply | More

[ - ] concussion question --- 3 yo ds tripped on the bed this evening and banged his forehead, just above his eye, on the bed rail. It was a loud thud. I picked him up immediately he looked a bit shocked, asked for some ice, and then said he was fine. I am pretty sure I would have noticed if he passed out, and I just checked on him and he seemed fine. Do I need to wake him up? Or would there be other clues if he had a concussion? np: My DS didn't lose consciousness right away - a few minutes later his eyes rolled back in his head and he was out. We were only a few blocks away from ER, so we ran him over. He came to about halfway there, but was groggy and not answering questions. Mild concussion. The ER watched him for 8 hours, then sent us home and he was fine. I'm just grateful for an older ER doc who stepped in when the younger one wanted to do a CT-scan (which would have required him to be sedated). That would have been awful, the older doc thought they could watch him for any signs of severe trauma before deciding to do the test. [ Reply | More

very dependent on what part of town. The really nice parts - Virginia-Highlands, Inman Park etc are still crazy high but lower than a couple of years ago. prob $350K and up (ish) Other parts are less expensive but still nice.
