not usually. generally you can't feel high blood pressure. Although sometimes (like after I gave birth) when mine skyrocketed I felt dizzy. But you should probably call your doc. [ Reply | More ]

I did it a couple times with my 2 y/o without a carseat. In hindsight, it probably would have been easier with the carseat, but I couldn't manage to carry it by myself. Anyway, you don't need a seat, but he'll have to sit down and be buckled in on take off and landing. That was a challenge for us, and the flight attendant kept yelling at us. [ Reply | More ]

I like the carseat for longer trips because my kids sleep better in them and it's nice to really be able to restrain them. For a shorter trip I think it's more of an effort than it's worth. [ Reply | More ]

actually, we are at a top district G&T, and the kids in the class chosen by the olsat are extremely smart. I am very impressed by what a mostly 99 K class looks like. there is a range, of course, since some kids came in off the w/l, but overall the class is really impressive. I believe the OLSAT does a good job. we will see going forward, but so far, the kids really are quite smart. [ Reply | More ]

Please stop speaking on behalf of the school unless you are one of the school's administrators. I was at registration today and they couldn't be nicer. No one is pissed anymore. They're just happy to know who the new students are. So, maybe they want control - why wouldn't they. Didn't the DOE create Empowerment Schools so principals would have control? [ Reply | More ]
