I also have wide hips and a fairly narrow waist. I got a Land's End suit: a mini-swim-mini (the regular mini is too long) and a tankini top. It is as flattering as it gets. [ Reply | More ]

Of course you'll have a future. It will just be different from what you previously envisioned. My family traveled through an incredible financial nadir -- multiple bankruptcies, alcoholism treatment, etc. But after many years everyone has come out the other side. It's not the idyllic picture anyone had, but it does fine. [ Reply | More ]

[ - ] Need bathing suit help. I'm 5'8" and 32A... need something flattering to my small chest (and that fits!) and a tummy smoother would help, since my post children belly seems to stick out farther than my boobs. Tried Lands End but nothing fit right (even the "custom" fit 32A suits!) Any advice? 2 Replies [ Reply | Watch | More ]

i liek the ann taylor loft tankinis. the halter style is flattering for those with small chests and there is a bit of padding. the top isn't terribly snug to avoid hugging that belly flab...and I liekt eh low rise bottoms. I am now pg but before was about your size.... [ Reply | More ]

I agree with the halter tankini suggestion. I'm similarly shaped (although shorter) and I have a calvin klein one that's the only suit I'll wear now. [ Reply | More ]

Family lawyer here: Child support is a % of his salary. As for visitation rights, the Judge would set up a schedule of when the Father could see his son...if the Father chooses not to see his son I would definitely have my lawyer bring this to the Judge's attention because it is very traumatic for the child to be set up for disappointment. [ - ] ivy isn't everythign folks. I had acceptances to 2 ivies back in the 90's when I was graduating from high school. Chose Tisch school of the arts to study drama instead. Went on the get a masters in film. Now I make my living directing tv films and commercials and I'm very happy I chose NYU. If I had gone to Yale or Columbia I would never have had the vision or exposure to the craft that shaped my career. I would probably be floundering around trying to figure out what i want and doing some "meantime" job. Totally living my dream and making money too and it's a direct result of NOT picking the Ivy schools. best part of my life is I go job to job so I can choose to take time off with my kids....like now, as I write you from the Hamptons where I will stay for 2 months not working and being proud of my non-ivy decision! 9 Replies [ Reply | Watch | More ]

OP: Well I like the success in career and money but the MOST important thing to me is that I have a job that I can schedule around my family...that I can take off in the summer and be w/ my kids for a month and not work and be OK. Also, I don't think the school can be credited for much of the whole person beyond the work/money/successful career stuff. The rest is either your own make-up or from your parents. [ Reply | More ]
