BCS is a fine middle school, but it can't compare with other District 15 schools such as MS 51 and Math and Science. Since BNS's enrollment used to be solely District 15, families would opt for the more impressive schools. With boroughwide enrolled at BNS starting this year, I bet you'll start to see more BNS staying on because their home districts lack decent middle schools. [ Reply | More

I never had a strong reaction before, but I've noticed lately that I've become more sensitive foods I eat out...not just msg but indigestion and lower digestive tract distress. not ever food I prepare myself. rarely use processed products at home. I agree with going with a midwife. Midwives generally "specialize" in normal births (vaginal), whereas OBs "specialize" in surgery and complications. Your best supporter for a VBAC will be a midwife, hands down. You can search for a supportive OB, but it'd be really difficult to find one that is equally as open to VBAC and forgiving about normal, physiologic birth as a midwife is. [ Reply | More
