my daughter had a horrible asthma episode last week. my supposed bf was at her country club and didn't call to see how she was, didn't offer help with my other 2 dcs, etc. I totally would have been there if it were reversed. [ Reply | More

op actually, i think you are right on. she kind of changes in the summer, becomes immersed in that world, etc. that scene is not for me, but it try to be supportive. but she is around much more during the school year.. [ Reply | More

Friendships could definitely change. That doesn't mean that women friends always disappoint, or that this particular woman disappointed in this case. Sometimes I forget to charge my cell phone. Does that mean I'm a crappy friend if I miss a call during a crisis? [ Reply | More
