Hi - I had to go away but I'm back. Therapy didn't really make anything worse but it did get very furstrating as we just sat in limbo with no movement. Ultimately I just decided to live with the issues we have and try not to examine our marriage very closely. [ Reply | More

often times, therapy makes things worse before things get better. rather, it can be painful but can reward with richer experience later on. minuchin or ackerman trained therapists are very good-can call for referrals or alumni of the institutes. i found our therapist through socialworker. org [ Reply | More

this last time I said "it's really not okay to go potty on the floor, accidents are ok, but I don't think this was an accident right" to which she responded, "yeah"....I am not going back to pull-ups, she is in daycare, and rarely has any accidents there. i think she's pretty young, and just trying to please you when she says it wasn't an accident. it's fine to train this young, but go easy on her psyche. also, it's smart that she says doggies do it on the floor. if my dd had said that at 2, i would have reported it to dh as evidence of her superior reasoning skills. she sounds smart, and like she's trying to please you. continue to make potty training an option, but don't mess with her self-esteem by making her feel bad if she has an accident. just mho [ Reply | More

during the day it is really slow. At night it's pretty close to the old UB - somewhat slower but much better. I think it's getting better and in a few weeks will be just fine. [ Reply | More
