What the fuck am I going to do for fun now that UB is closing?! This is just about the only thing I do that remotely resembles a leisure activity. I log on first thing in the morning while I drink my morning coffee, scroll through the previous day's pages and then start work/real life about 30-45 minutes later and check posts intermittently 1-2 times during lulls in the afternoons like now. Where are we all going to gather now? Youbemom is full of flyover, posts are too short and very boring. [ Reply | Watch | Flag ]

I'm as upset as you are and I don't want to go to youbemom either but can we please not turn on each other at a time like this! I'm a former NY Mom who moved to "flyover" recently (happily) and I have been on this site for over a decade, while raising kids in NY and after leaving. I think I'm a valuable contributor. Sorry. I don't mean to be rude. It's just that most UBers have a nexus with NY (like you, since you lived here before) which makes the posts more relevant and interesting to urban dwellers.
