Hi - DH here who had the disoriented wife this afternoon - who couldn't string thoughts together and put words to objects. Just got back from the hospital, and everything is OK. BP, urine were fine, and consult with neurologist was fine too -- the symptoms of a stroke are different than what she was having, and so that was ruled out. Weird and scary though. Most likely was a freak, painless migraine. At 27 weeks pregnant, not uncommon to have migraine headaches. Following up with tests on Tue. to rule out 1 in a million blood clot possibility. She's in with DD now, putting her down to sleep. Thanks, UB. [ Reply | Watch | Flag ]

Yeah - thanks. Called a couple of doctors who confirmed what everyone here was saying - get to the ER. I wasn't intentionally dilly dallying online -- I was trying to get a sense if women, and particularly pregnant women, experienced this.
