How is Ardsley in Westchester County. Saw a nice house there and walked around... hilly, but such pretty treetop views from everywhere, and such nicely kept houses... off Ashford Avenue [ Reply | Watch | Flag ]

v nice, IMHO. Schools are good, though not the "best" in Westchester, nice area, conveniently located, and nice people (several of the kids in my dd's preschool class are from Ardsley, and their moms are very nice). [ Reply | More

schools are top rated... not Scarsdale, but up there - been to schools for ds's games - the HS and MS campuses are gorgeous - great fields anyway! [ Reply | More

Very good schools, no town pool, terrible commute since it does not have its own train station, Ardsley on Hudson station is actually in Irvington..you'd have to take a bus to another train station e.g. Hartsdale, Dobbs Ferry or Scarsdale since you won't be entitled to resident parking in either of those stations. Some homes in White Plains and Hartsdale are zoned for Ardsley and these places are actually in Town of Greenburgh so you can park at Hartsdale Station. [ Reply | More
