What is the story with Alex? Why is he crying over this random woman who thought she was pregnant? It's a weird story line that I don't get. [ Reply | Watch | Flag ]

She was injured in last season's ferry crash. She was PG and had memory loss and was in the hospital for a long time. Her face has been crushed in the accident and Sloane rebuilt her face. She and Alex were close -- but it seemed platonic until the end of the season (probably b/c Addison was leaving and that changed Alex's storyline). He went after her and it was too late -- she had already checked out of the hospital. (Her husband eventually came for her and the DB.) She reappeared several times this season and she and Alex slept together. [ Reply | More
