I think the definition of "healthy" carbs could maybe gain from some refinement. Namely, a watermelon is not the same as an avocado nutritionally. Different fruits have different sugar content. Different vegetables have different fiber or fat content. [ Reply | More ]

I don’t think most people here think all fruits and vegetables are the same. Avocados and watermelon are both fruits; one obviously needs to watch fruit as many are high in sugar (avocados are high in fat of course). With veggies, I don’t think anybody needs to think about the difference between broccoli and cauliflower or kale or Zucchini or even carrots (truly, even though carrots are higher in sugar, it’s hard to eat enough, especially raw). Obviously there are a couple exceptions like potatoes and corn. [ Reply | More ]

Most fruit has a lot of sugar. Sure, it's "natural" sugar, but it's still sugar and has a lot of calories. The basic rule is: If something tastes sweet, and it's not artificially sweetened, it's fattening. [ Reply | More ]

Op- I find it funny and sad at the same time. There is always some new trend she is following. When Barre was all of the rage, guess who was taking pics at the studio and posting with a hashtag. She has daughters and after Kobe Bryant’s death everything became #girldad. She insists that she would never want a son and her husband agrees. The husband agrees a lot with her because she’s just too strong with her opinion and very argumentative. Recently everyone’s been taking porch pictures during the quarantine and post them to social media and guess who jumped on the bandwagon. She has the type of personality that she is always right and has to be on trend so it’s interesting to sit back and just watch the show. Deep down there are other issues like insecurity or possibly narcissism. [ Reply | More ]

Something near your face - jacket is fine, but if not, a shirt with a collar or a scarf or something. Ideally, they'll mostly see your face and the top of your shoulders. MORE important: Get the lighting and positioning right - not from right behind you and not a single glare of a lamp. Look at yourself on the PC camera ahead of time and make adjustments. MOST important: Look At The Camera. Not obsessively, but regularly through out the presentation. I have talked to way too many ears, foreheads, and nostrils in the last 6 weeks. [ Reply | More ]
