Just wow - Youngest DC has 2 more years of HS and DK if I am ready to be pushed out of the UB nest. UrbanBaby posters can be cruel, but I've also gotten a lot of great advice here on nearly everything NYC, parenting, etc. I've even suggested UB to single friends ISO advice on careers, job hunts, vacation planning, etc as this site can be great for crowd sourcing. Thanks to people who took the time to reply, especially those with sage advice or just sympathy for struggles. Where should I look for insights for future quandaries? Agree. Bad timing. We need UB more than every in these challenging times. A bit off-topic but that note above signed by UrbanBaby Support reads as if the Customer Support team decided to close down UrbanBaby. In my opinion, it should have been signed "UrbanBaby," "The UrbanBaby Team," or even by the owner or owners who made the decision. [ Reply | More
