I guess I won't have a chance to get your imput his fall. Any thoughts on which would be your top 2 out of this list: Stuy, HSMSE, Tech, Beacon, Regis, Xavier? Smart ds, sporty but not a star, has also liked drama in past but not sure he'd do that in HS. Possibly debate. Dont need "the best". Would like capable school admin. Appreciate it. HSMSE was a horrible fit for my child. Some really horrible teachers (some OK, but some really horrid). Think learning German is a waste, and the school has trouble hiring German teachers. Facilities terribly overcrowded. Few choices. Wish my child had listed BX Sci first (scores were good enough for Stuy). Chose HSMSE first b/c concerned about BX sci being too big, plus we lived close to HSMSE and liked the campus feel. [ Reply | More
